MULTiSSCAN 50W Emergency High Bay Light with Battery Backup

The MULTiSSCAN 50W Emergency LED High Bay Light is designed for warehouses, factories, industrial sheds and other high-ceiling areas where reliable illumination is important during power interruptions. Its UFO-style design combines everyday industrial lighting with an integrated emergency battery backup system.

Normal Mains Operation

During normal mains operation, the fixture provides its rated 50W LED illumination for everyday industrial and commercial activities.

Emergency High Bay Light: Automatic Battery Backup

When mains power fails, the MULTiSSCAN emergency module automatically switches the light to battery operation. The module regulates the LED discharge current to provide approximately 30W of emergency output, helping balance useful illumination with available battery energy.

This automatic changeover helps maintain visibility during power interruptions without requiring manual intervention.

Integrated LiFePO₄ Battery System

The emergency system uses a rechargeable 12.8V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery. The integrated battery arrangement provides backup power within the high-bay assembly.

The charging system operates when mains power is available, preparing the battery for subsequent power interruptions. The emergency module label specifies a charging time of approximately 6–8 hours; actual charging time may depend on battery condition and operating conditions.
